Events Calendar
Colac Otway Shire Council is working with the community to develop a long-term Community Vision for the whole of our Shire.
The Vision will articulate where we want to be in the future. It will capture what we value, our hopes and dreams for the future, what we would like to keep and what we would like to see changed. The Vision statement will reflect our community’s aspirations. Its purpose is to inform Council’s priorities and guide the allocation of resources. Please get involved and share your ideas.
Council would like to involve the Colac Otway community in a conversation about the future to develop a ‘Community Vision’. It is important that we hear from as many people as possible so that the Vision truly reflects community aspirations for the future. Developing a Community Vision provides an opportunity to bring people together in a shared conversation about what we love about our community, what we would like to retain and what we might want to change. The Community Vision will be used by Council to develop its strategic plans and shape decision-making based on the community’s aspirations and values.
